Company: Artinium Inc. Intern, East Greenwhich, Rhode Island, United States, January-May 2015
Client: East Greenwhich Animal Protection League (EGAPL)
EGAPL requested a responsive Wordpress website to inform the public about current animal adoptions, ways to get involved, and general information. A Wordpress template was chosen by the client. As the designer, I then laid out the content, coding the site to fit the needs of the site map developed with the client. The navigation and each page was adjusted to best display the content for EGAPL.

Client: Plum Island Products
The client asked for a one-page site to advertise the "Selfie Stick" and give customers a way to contact the company for more information about orders. I manipulated a Wordpress template, through code, to produce a visually coherent site with the clients content.

Design and Community Web Solutions
Objective: Develop a website for a non-profit organization with a team. Rhode Island Retired Teachers’ Association is a non-profit based in Newport, Rhode Island. Over the course of a month we collected information the organization wanted to see on the website, organizing it into different web pages. After determining the workflow of the website, we translated wireframes into a functional design, which fit the needs of the organization. Since the organization wished to have full access to change content the team decided a Wix site would be most suitable. The design was then adjusted to fit with Wix.

Interactivity Flash
Objective: Develop an application, to be used on a tablet, using Adobe Flash.
I researched Carleton Emmons Watkins on Getty and Creative Commons, in order to use artwork with no rights so the app could be uploaded to the Apple Store in the future. I developed an app displaying Watkins photography along with a visualization of his stereoscopes. The app also includes a quiz based on the biography section.

I chose to create a responsive website about owls as a collectible "knickknack." In addition to using Dreamweaver, I used Edge Animate to create the embedded slideshow of owl images.
All logo designs and icon graphics I personally created. Background images and slideshow images were taken from stock imagery for the purpose of the learning process, along with the video of the owl, which is from YouTube.
